Red Wine Tannins


Want a deep red color of your homemade wine


This tannin will augment the red color of your wine. Ideal for grapes made from table grapes (ordinary shop grape) that are seedless and don’t have too much color or astringency. If you are using Bangalore Blue or similar seeded grapes with thick skin then the tannins are not required. It is also heavily used in red port wine and fruit cider. Another natural source of tannin is beetroot but that, unfortunately, gives a metallic after taste which should be avoided. This 5 gm powder will add the color without altering the taste.

5gm pack is good for 20 Liter batch. Please test it in a small cup of wine before adding it to the whole batch.
