Isinglass is the ingredient of choice for picturesque red and white wine. It is also used in lagers and crisp craft ales to get the perfect clarity.
Super-clarifying agent for malt brews and fruit juices. For best results, make a 0.5% solution and subsequently use it along with hydrated Bentonite 5% solution (different days). Improve the color, presentation, and clarity of your homemade wines. It also has utilization in APA and American hoppy ales to eliminate maltiness.
This food-grade powder comes from Collagen derived from fish swim bladders and is one of the traditional ways of clarifying wines and cask-conditioned beers. Isinglass & gelatin are proteins that take away the negatively charged haze causing suspension from your beverage. Bentonite, on the other hand, attaches to a positively charged haze causing the suspension.
Pack contains 5gm of powder. Dosage 4-5gm per 100 liters.

Dear sir, your response regarding the isinglass order was very good. You asked me to watch a video to know how to use isinglass. But I still couldn’t get details of when during the wine making process it is to be added. And how long it it take to demist. Kindly clarify.

Ravi isinglass is added in the secondary (where we age the wine and allow it clear). It takes about 24-48 hours to clear the wine.
