This little thermometer is great for installing into a brewing pot or fermenter with a thermowell. The silicone housing keeps the probe insulated to get a more accurate reading while also keeping the thermometer conveniently mounted in place and the display reading outwards.
These are commonly used on stainless steel fermenters, such as Brew Buckets or any other conical fermenter to monitor the fermenting beer’s actual temperature.
The short probe cable length makes sure the probe goes right to the tip of the thermowell to get the best possible reading without having excess cable.
The silicone shroud is removable and the bare thermometer can be panel mounted in a 45x25mm panel.
