Home made Wine is a tradition in almost all Indian Christian families. In fact one of my friend once said,"Fruit always begs to become wine, it does not matter if you want it be one or not. Even if you don't juice them, the fruit inside its skin will transform and give you that sweet brandy smell and flavor that we always cherish."
Needless to say your wines are very resilient and rarely any intervention is required for this ancient technology.
What you need are:
3. Sugar (lots and lots of it) Jaggery and sulphurless sugar is preferred
4. primary fermentor (with a wide mouth)
5. Secondary fermentor with a tapering mouth and an airlock
